DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDINGThis building is a folk, traditional type of café. It is a corner single-storey building that overlooks the square of "Pigadaki". Internally, the café is single-spaced, with tables filling the space mainly adjacent to the openings. The same space additionally hosts a kitchenette. In the interior there is a high wooden ceiling and the floor is covered with cement mortar. A characteristic morphological element of the building is the many large openings with retractable frames on the windows, which make the internal space airy and bright. The façade of the building is plastered and has two main entrances. The double-leafed doors have casements with glazed plates and transom windows. All the frames of the building are wooden and have architraves with small cornices. The wooden pilaster at the edge of the building is particularly elaborate, with flutes and a crown. All the wooden elements of the building are colored in the same shade and their finish creates a sense of folk neoclassical style. The roof is wooden with Byzantine- style roof tiles.
